Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Canva, PowerPoint, Creative Fabrica
Audience: This training is intended for middle managers across departments. This training will be available to anyone in a management position or new to management moving forward.
Business Problem: Sourova, an e-commerce platform, has experienced many policy and procedural changes over the last 3 years to meet the demands of rapid growth. Managers have no formal training on how to communicate change initiatives with their teams, leading to decreased buy-in, and increased resistance to changes.
Solution: This e-learning course guides managers through the steps necessary to lead their teams through a critical change. Content is chunked into actionable steps with examples for immediate implementation. A continuous scenario demonstrates common situations managers face, bringing the content to life.
Process: A needs analysis was conducted with SMEs paired with analysis of of survey results, and employee observations and interviews to identify skill gaps and identify learning solutions. A design document outlined content, course objectives and assessment strategies, while the storyboard created a blueprint for course development, including real-life scenarios, interactions, knowledge checks, and a final assessment that requires an 80% passing score aligned to level 2 of the Kilpatrick Model. Post-training, level 3 behavior change effectiveness will be measured through informal interviews and observations along with a climate survey. Each step allowed feedback to inform next steps before rolling out the course to learners.

Audience: This training is intended for all employees in order to reduce workplace injury risk and increase safety.
Business Problem: H&L Events is an event planning company where employees work in a dynamic environment that includes in-office work and off-site event coordination. Employees have indicated a decline in wellness and comfort, specifically, an increase in fatigue and body pain. Employees like the new option of standing and sitting desks in the office, but have not been trained on how to safely set up workstations for optimal comfort and safety or how to prevent injuries off-site that require lifting when setting up for events.
Solution: This e-learning course walks employees through the steps for safe lifting technique and how to set up sitting or standing workstations that are ergonomically effective. The course offers real-life visuals to simulate steps and set-up for immediate application.
Process: A needs analysis was conducted with SMEs paired with analysis of of survey results, and manager observations to identify skill gaps and identify learning solutions. A design document outlined the course content, learning objectives, knowledge checks and a final assessment requiring an 80% passing score aligned to level 2 of the Kilpatrick Model. Post-training, level 3 behavior change effectiveness will be measured through quarterly observations of implementation along with an annual survey for employee satisfaction, including safety. Each step allowed feedback to inform next steps before rolling the course out to learners.
