Hello! I'm Denise

I am a collaborative, solution-oriented instructional designer with experience designing and facilitating experiential training through storytelling, real-life scenarios and engaging learning applications so learners feel more confident, prepared and motivated to put their skills to work. 

My learner-centered approach follows the ADDIE and SAM frameworks and is grounded in clear communication and collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders. 

Connecting with people is a pillar of my practice. Understanding the unique perspectives of learners and tailoring learning that is inclusive and customized to their experience creates impactful growth experiences. Building and sustaining productive relationships across diverse teams that is grounded in empathy and trust is imperative for project goals to be reached with efficiency.  

Outside of work I love to travel, whether it's a weekend getaway or exploring a new city abroad. Immersing myself in a new place and meeting new people light me up. Traveling has taught me to adapt to situations outside my comfort zone and see the world through different perspectives. I'm also an avid reader and can get lost in a book for hours.
